Facilities Management provides custodial services for all CU Denver Buildings. Trash can, floors, carpet vacuuming and shampooing, hard-floor mopping messes, dusting, trash, recycle, composting, room turn, restroom servicing, general cleaning, rest room supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, feminine hygiene supplies.

Floor Plans & Space Information

Our team maintains accurate floor plans and space occupancy information, monitors space utilization, and tracks space agreements. We can provide you with floor plans, room numbers, space details, square footage information, design layouts and occupancy information.

Furniture and Equipment Disposal

Category: Facilities Management Audience: Faculty Staff Students Cost: There is a charge for disposal from AHEC owned buildings and for large items or large quantities of items from CU Denver owned buildings
Facilities Management assists units with the removal and disposal of equipment, furniture, and electronics. With smaller items and smaller quantities of items, this service is provided free of charge if requested in a CU Denver-Owned building. Fees apply for pickup of items from AHEC-owned buildings (regardless of quantity or size), or pickup of large items or large quantities of items from a CU Denver-Owned buildings.

Moves and Relocations

Category: Other Services Audience: Faculty Staff Students Cost: There is a cost to use Prestige, the university’s contracted move company.
Moves and relocations are facilitated by the Transition Management Team. This team is shared by the Anschutz and Denver campuses. The Transition Management Team coordinates all aspects of a relocation. They have developed a move process that engages all of the major campus support systems- Environmental Health and Safety (as needed), OIT, Facilities Management, and Mail Services.

Physical Accessibility

Facilities Management and Planning partners with other units at CU Denver and the Auraria Higher Education Center to ensure that campus facilities and grounds are compliant with regulations that govern physical accessibility. Space Requests

Category: Space Management Audience: Faculty Staff Students Cost: Free
Before submitting a space request, review the Workplace Guidelines. They explain how we design, assign and manage campus space and outline the other steps that are required before submitting a space request. The requestor also needs to evaluate their space internally, identify a source of funding, and obtain leadership approval. Once these steps are completed, submit a Space Request Form.
