Furniture and Equipment Disposal
Facilities Management offers support for the disposal of furniture, capital equipment, non-capital equipment and electronics. This service is provided free of charge if the items for disposal are in a CU Denver-owned general fund building (Lawrence Street Center, CU Denver Building, Business School, North Classroom, Student Commons, Learning Commons) and the request does not include a large number of items or items that are heavy enough to require additional labor. If either of those circumstances apply, the requesting unit will be charged a fee for pickup based on an hourly rate. Disposal services are available in the Lola and Rob Salazar Wellness Center, City Heights and Lynx Crossing for a fee. If you are in an AHEC-owned building (all buildings not listed above), please visit the AHEC Facilities Services site. Before you dispose of items, please consider offering them to other units if they are in good condition. This can be done by posting the items on the Furniture & Equipment Swap Teams page.
