Physical Accessibility

Guided by our values of being equity-serving and making education work for all, the University of Colorado Denver is committed to meeting and exceeding policy mandates and moving toward a fully accessible campus, including accessible pedagogical practices in our classes and full inclusion of all students, faculty, and staff in all aspects of campus life.

Facilities Management and Planning (FMP) partners with other units at CU Denver and the Auraria Higher Education Center to ensure that campus facilities and grounds are physically accessible and that physical barriers to teaching, learning and personal and professional growth are minimized and, where possible, eliminated. FMP is a member of the CU Denver Accessibility Steering Committee and the CU Denver Physical Accessibility Committee.
