The Health Center at Auraria provides health services for ALL CU Denver students regardless of insurance status. With CU Denver’s International Student Health Insurance you can visit the Health Center at Auraria without having to pay a copay or deductible for office visits. Students must use the on-campus Health Center at Auraria for referrals for outside care. Please call before visiting. Referrals issued by the Health Center at Auraria must accompany claims when submitted. You will have to pay a maximum $20 copay per medication. Students who do not have the CU Denver insurance plan will be asked for payment at the time of service. The CU Denver Student & Community Counseling Center provides mental health counseling services to CU Denver students as well as the Denver Metro community. The Student & Community Counseling Center is located in the Tivoli Student Union Suite 454 and the phone number is 303-315-7270.
The Phoenix Center at Auraria is a free and confidential resource that works to assist survivors of interpersonal violence (relationship violence, sexual violence, and stalking), as well as their friends, families, and concerned others. The Phoenix Center is located in the Tivoli Student Union Suite 259 and the informational phone number is 303-315-7250. The 24/7 Free and Confidential Helpline is 303-556-CALL (2255).
The CU Denver Campus Assessment, Response & Evaluation (CARE) Team was created to address the health and safety needs of students as well as the campus community. The CARE Team’s phone number is 303-315-7306.
The CU Denver Psychology Clinic is a training site for graduate students in the Clinical Health Psychology Ph.D. program at the University of Colorado Denver that provides individual therapy to adults, children, and adolescents experiencing a wide range of psychological problems.
