Don joined CU Denver in November of 2023 as Manager of Auxiliary Finance and Budget serving both Wellness & Recreation Services and Housing & Dining Services.  He has over 14 years of broad financial management, financial analysis, and budget experience including in a university environment.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Taxation form the University of Denver.  In addition, he has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Incorporating Wellness

I believe that all 7 dimensions of wellness need to be addressed to have the best quality of life and I strive to achieve that in my lifestyle and the personal choices I make.

How I can help

I support the University by managing the financial aspects of providing wellness, recreation, housing, and dining services to all our students, faculty, and staff at CU Denver. I work to ensure we are maximizing the benefit of the funds we receive and that our spending is aligned with our mission. Personally, I want to offer support and be available to our students, faculty, and staff in any capacity that can enhance their CU experience. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
