Explore Who You Are

The first step to understanding what major or career will be a good fit for you is getting to know yourself better. We offer a wide range of assessments and tools to help you understand your personality, skills, interests, and values and how they guide your career journey. To set up an exploratory appointment, schedule a ‘Choosing a Major’ or ‘Career Exploration’ appointment through Handshake or by calling our front desk (303) 315-4000.

We offer three formal assessments within the Career Center to help you explore your strengths, personality, or interests. Completing an assessment with the Career Center requires 3 steps:

1. Schedule a 30-minute Assessment Intake appointment with a career counselor to learn about the differences between the assessments and which tool is the best fit for your goals
2. If approved for an assessment, the career counselor will send you instructions and you will complete the assessment on your own time (completion times range from 30-45 minutes)
3. Review your results with a career counselor during an interpretation appointment (interpretations range from 60-90 minutes)
