CTA Siteimprove Policy


To assist you in updating CTAs we have created a custom policy in Siteimprove to identify remaining CTA's with h4 headers. Once an old CTA has been identified, you can resolve it using one of the methods described on our CTA Accessibility Page.


Instructions:

To view old CTA's from your Accessibility Dashboard, click on Accessibility policies on the navigation menu on the left hand side:

Then you can click on the CTA H4 Headers policy link:

This will open up a list of all of the pages where old CTA's have been identified for your site. Next, click on the page link to open up the policy report for that specific page. On the policy page report, you will see an occurrences flag on the upper right of the page:

You can use the arrow buttons to highlight occurrences of old CTA's on your page. Old CTA's will appear highlighted in red like so:

At the top of the report you can also click on the "View HTML" button to highlight where in the code old CTA's have been identified:

Old CTA's matching the policy will be highlighted in red in the HTML view, you can see CTA's with an h4 have been identified:
