We are pleased to share the following updates for our February 28, 2024 Sitefinity release:
Enhancements to Current Functionality
- Article widget: The new “Article no summary” template has been released, which displays the title and author but no article summary. Check out the template on this AtWeb page.
- Document search: Documents that are shown on pages have been indexed as search results as of 2/21. When site visitors enter search queries, documents that have been published and added to pages may be shown as search results.
- Featured tabs widget: It is now possible to add images to featured tabs. Check out this AtWeb page to learn more.
- OIT Tools & Services: The option to manually link to a details page has been added, in addition to the option to use an automatically generated details page.
Accessibility Improvements
- Duplicate IDs: The duplicate ID issue has been addressed on all elements.
- Empty containers: Evaluation of empty containers that were being flagged in Siteimprove is complete.
- Line-height: Line-height was set to a default minimum of 1.5 for all tables.
- Link underlines: Additional link underline treatment was added to Highlightbox, Lists, News and Events widgets.
- Page templates: Updates were made related to wrapping the second full-width container with the main element.
Noteworthy Bug Fixes
- Announcements: A bug has been fixed where the incorrect icon was showing on closed announcements.
- Enterprise search: A bug has been fixed with search where the Research Admin radio button did not show as selected.
- Hero image: An issue where the Advanced Mode toggle was not working has been resolved.
- List widget: The styling of icons has been updated for the list widget.
- Tabs widget: A bug has been fixed where tables could not be properly resized within the tabs widget.
- Top nav: The caret icons with the “More” top nav items have been updated to the correct color.
- Web bio: An issue with text alignment for the accordion template has been fixed.
