Enhanced hero image: we have immensely enhanced the hero image to allow you to amend the text placement within the widget, the text alignment within its container, the background color of the text bubble, and the text color. You can do this by toggling to “Advanced Mode” in the hero image editor. Shout-out to the Office of Digital Education for this feature request that we believe will help many of our site builders! You can learn more about how to use this widget in our AtWeb guide.
Enhancements
Facts & figures: the facts & figures widget is now HTML friendly in the text box, meaning you can now style the text to your desire. You can learn more about how to use this widget on AtWeb.
Department content type: we removed the requirement for a physical address as well as a secondary location option that includes mail stop and phone number as non-authoritative fields.
Newsroom 2.0: we’re excited to introduce a new template for articles called “Featured Stories” that will list 3-4 articles in a more prominent way. Try it out! We also have allowed you now to have a link-only article which is a way to include external articles in your article listing. Learn more about this widget and see the new template on AtWeb.
Page properties: to help site builders in setting up sites correctly, we have made the default selection to be “all top-level pages” instead of “all items under particular page” when breaking inheritance on navigation.
What's coming up next?
Our March sprint will be primarily focused on supporting the following prioritized University projects: CU Denver Student Journey Web Experience, ColoradoSPH site migration, Academic Program Finder, Research Admin content type. We will also continue to work on upgrading Sitefinity’s back-end interface and our Newsroom 2.0 project.
