New Student Convocation is the official welcome for all new students to the University of Colorado Denver. Just as graduation commemorates the end of a student’s university experience, this event marks the beginning of a student’s time at CU Denver. Each pre-registered student receives a ticket for lunch and a CU Denver spirit shirt at check-in.

- Check-In - 9 a.m. – 12th & Larimer Streets
- Ceremony - 9:30 a.m.- Wellness Center Gymnasium
- CU Denver Class Photo & Student Welcome Activities - 10:30 a.m. - Noon
- Lunch and Involvement Fair- Noon - 1:30 p.m.

Convocation is part of the CU Denver Welcome events that are designed to support you during your transition to CU Denver, whether you're a recent high school graduate or a transfer student from another institution.
