The University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) has kicked off a search for the next permanent leader of the University Communications (UComm) Office.
The UComm team of more than 30 professionals works to advance the mission of the university, as well as its reputation and identity as a leading academic and research institution. Through strategic communications planning, media relations, branding, marketing, executive communications, and a wide range of digital media, UComm tells the stories of the university and its people.
In May 2024, Chief of Staff Dan Maxey was appointed as the interim UComm leader while we planned a national search for our next vice chancellor of marketing and communications. This position will report directly to the chancellor and play a key role in raising the profile of CU Denver in Colorado, nationally, and beyond.
We welcome your recommendations for potential candidates. If you know someone who would be a great fit for the position, please feel free to nominate them confidentially.
