City of Denver Minimum Wage Study
Project Leads: Laura Argys, Professor, Ernest Boffy-Ramirez, Assistant Professor-CT, Hani Mansour, Associate Professor. College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Faculty completed an analysis of a mayoral initiative to raise the minimum wage to $15/hour in Denver.
Addressing Workforce Development in the Hospitality Industry
Project Lead: Jessi Zemetra, Program Manager, CityCenter. Like many other industries, the hospitality sector is experiencing challenges in recruiting and retaining a skilled workforce. Completed inventory of existing educational programs across Denver targeted to the hospitality and restaurant industry and conducted focus groups with industry leaders to assess gaps and additional areas of need.
