An initiative to facilitate conversations and research about growth in our region
Though our state’s economic success is the envy of much of the nation, not everybody in Colorado has found a path to the opportunities we work so hard to create. And we want to understand why. Under the leadership of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Leadership Foundation and the Metro Denver EDC, along with partners like the University of Colorado Denver and The Brookings Institution, Prosper CO is bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders – from different sectors, different geographic locations, different industries and different perspectives – to identify gaps in opportunity and develop a full range of strategies to close those gaps.
This stakeholder meeting is an opportunity for community members to hear about some of the latest findings on equitable economic development strategies from national experts, learn about the progress and plans of the Prosper Colorado Initiative, and offer your input on why people in our metro region are being left out.
Presented in partnership with the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, CU Denver's CityCenter and the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG), this event is part of the Imagine a Great Region initiative and DRCOG's Metro Vision Idea Exchange Series.
