The teacher education, administration licensure, principal licensure, and endorsement programs at the School of Education and Human Development, do not meet educational requirements for licensure in states other than Colorado. This is true for educator preparation programs in all states as each state has unique requirements such as an extra course or exam.
If you are seeking licensure in a state other than Colorado, it is strongly recommended you review the requirements below for the state in which you intend to seek employment and contact the appropriate licensing entity in that state.

The Clinical Health Psychology PhD mission is to train Scientist-Practitioners who receive a generalist-training in clinical psychology, and who acquire additional knowledge and skill in health psychology and behavioral medicine.
The Clinical Health Psychology PhD program at the University is an APA accredited program that is compliant with national standards to prepare students to practice clinical psychology. However, the practice of psychology is regulated at the state
level. State licensing authorities determine specific educational and training requirements for licensure in their state. Of note, most States require post-doctoral training as well as examinations beyond pre-doctoral educational and training
requirements. As such, a PhD degree in Clinical Psychology is not sufficient, in and of itself, to meet licensure requirements in most states. However, our program does meet the pre-doctoral training requirements for most states as indicated
below. Licensure requirements can change at any time; therefore, students are encouraged to contact the applicable licensing board in the state where they are hoping to be employed.

Currently, New Jersey and Puerto Rico are the only state/territory requiring a professional license to practice as an urban planner. Licensure requirements can change at any time; therefore, students are encouraged to contact the applicable licensing board in the state where they are hoping to be employed.
