Peer Mentorship Program

Program Overview

The Pre-Collegiate Peer Mentorship Program at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) is designed to work with former CU System Pre-Collegiate students who matriculate to CU Denver to be successful during their first year at the institution and throughout their college experiences. The Peer Mentorship Program serves an important role in supporting students in navigating the various challenges and barriers they may encounter during their initial college experiences at CU Denver.

To get the most out of their experience, students in the program are expected to remain active participants by meeting with their mentors on a bi-weekly basis to discuss any issues that may arise and/or questions that they may have. Additionally, students are required to attend an orientation prior to the start of the fall semester to get acclimated to the program and its requirements. Lastly, students are expected to attend the mentees/mentors' meetings during the fall and spring semesters.
