The Risk and Compliance team reviews the security and practices of third party applications, cloud services and business processes in order to protect university confidential and highly confidential data, including PHI, to reduce risk and meet compliance standards.

Classroom related audiovisual support is available for courses (no fee) and for non-course related events. This includes setup of equipment, assistance with audio, video and recording devices, assistance with loading of PowerPoint presentations, or other multimedia equipment such as document cameras, DVD/VCRs, audience response systems.

This service request is to install/activate, make changes, or deactivate an office/desktop telephone connection at a designated location. Typical use of this service is to support an office phone, or multiple office phones, connection.

There is a standard process in place for typical terminations from the university. Timely terminations are specific to an involuntary termination or any circumstance where the unit believes there is a risk to university data. ISIC will evaluate the request and then obtain approval from Legal and HR before disabling access. Please note that employees who also hold an active role as a student have specific rights to maintain access to their student account.

Turnitin is a software application designed to uphold academic integrity and support the development of original thinking through a robust feedback system. Integrated directly into Canvas, Turnitin allows you to check student work for plagiarism, provide feedback, and improve writing skills.

Your university credentials are the username / email address and password pair that provides secure access to several resources at the university, as well as a number of resources provided by the CU system. These services include email, the Web Login portal, VPN, wireless access, etc.

OIT manages access to email, Active Directory, VPN and certain library entitlements as well as the information that is sent to badging and parking. Access to HCM, Finance, PeopleSoft and CU-SIS is managed by University Information Systems at the CU System Office. Submit a ticket for help accessing these university systems.

Videoconferencing services to all of the University of Colorado campuses, as well as to numerous affiliate hospitals. Videoconferencing allows two or more locations to communicate through simultaneous two way video and audio transmissions.

The OIT Web Services and Web Development teams' partner with the CU Anschutz Office of Communications and CU Denver University Communications teams to offer consultation on website content strategy, information architecture, CMS best practices and brand compliance. We offer weekly Open Lab sessions with web team members.
