Give Back and Support the Success of Future Lynx

Connect

Alumni play a critical role in the student experience and success at CU Denver. Volunteering is a great way to promote your company or organization, recruit world-class talent, support your alma mater, and—most importantly—make a difference in the lives of our students. Your opportunities to get involved include connecting with current students, fellow alumni, and the CU Denver campus.

CU at the Table

The CU at the Table program is an opportunity for alumni, faculty, and staff to meaningfully engage with current students in an informal setting by inviting students to a hosted meal during the month of November. CU Denver has a significant population of international students and CU at the Table is one way the university seeks to provide an outlet for this group to more deeply connect with the university.

Support SPA Students Entering the Job Market

CU Denver School of Public Affairs students are often looking for career-related experiences, exposure to possible careers, professional networking opportunities, conference attendance support, job shadowing, informational interviews, internships and volunteer opportunities. If you would like to support these students in their professional development, please consider offering an opportunity for students, whether remotely or in person, long term or short term.

Give Back. Get Help. Improve Outcomes.

Micro-Internships

Give back to your alma mater and mentor current students by hiring them for Micro-Internships at your company. They’ll build their network and you’ll help shape the next generation of young alumni!

CU Denver is excited to announce a new opportunity for alumni to offer short-term, professional, paid work experiences to current students through Micro-Internships. Through Micro-Internships, students can demonstrate their skills, explore career paths, and develop their professional networks.

Unlike a traditional internship, these paid opportunities typically range from 5 to 40 hours of work, and many can be completed remotely. Not only does this help the students, but it allows alumni to get immediate support and enhance their company’s pipeline for future interns and new hires.

This opportunity is not limited to the Denver or even Colorado area so get your Micro-Internship listed now to get help with projects from highly qualified CU Denver students and recent graduates.

CU License Plate with CU Letters Only

CU Specialty License Plate Redesign Petition

You can show your CU pride and support our students with scholarships at the same time. How? Help us create a second CU license plate for Colorado drivers. The new plate will feature the CU logo in the center to pair with our Ralphie version. And we need your support. Colorado will start production on the new plate once we receive 500 signatures. When drivers choose CU plates, a portion of the registration fee directly supports student scholarships at CU.
