As a Lifelong Learning Program member, you have free attendance to all CU Denver CIBER virtual events and up to four International Executive Roundtable (IER) events, per academic year, and one Global Context of Business workshop free of charge.
You may choose to attend additional IER events for $50 each, and additional Global Context of Business workshops for $100 each.
The Business School, in partnership with the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) and the Reynolds Program for Global Business, is pleased to invite students to attend the upcoming World Trade Center Denver 36th Annual Member Gathering.
This unique opportunity will go over how to build your resume and cover letter. We will discuss the basic structures and layouts, how to adjust them based on different jobs or internships, recommended formatting such as titles and text size, and what important information you should include. There will also be time for veteran student Q&A at the end of the session.
In this presentation, Jacqui will examine ethics in international business through a practical lens. She will explore the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Principles and how they are a part of good business practices by diving into real life examples of actions companies have taken, focusing on the tough challenges businesses face when doing business in other countries, and analyzing the decisions their leaders have made. Jacqui will evaluate other paths they could have chosen which would have followed the Principles more effectively, how such choices would have changed their course of business, why they followed a different path, and how to get them to operate more ethically.

In this presentation, Dr. Lemery will dive into the stress that our ecosystems are now under and how it is affecting the widescale human suffering. He will examine the record heat exposures, flooding episodes, wildfires, hurricanes, and forced displacement that are increasingly exacerbating health disparities, predominantly in our most vulnerable populations. Finally, Dr. Lemery will highlight the need for resilient healthcare systems and credible, knowledgeable and effective health leaders to understand the health risks and help advance smart health policy.
