I’m honored to be part of a diverse 22-member cohort exploring new personal and professional opportunities, building community, and creating connections for the next phases of life. I highly recommend this unique program.

I see things differently, for myself and for my community and all the opportunities in between. Instead of feeling like there’s a dead end, I feel energized, and curious for what’s next, both professionally and personally.

Change Makers has given me confidence to be deliberate about my next steps and not just pursue the same old same old because that's what comes naturally or that feels like what I should do. Because of my interaction with my cohort members, I'm more confident "putting myself out there" for networking or new relationships. It gave me reassurance to know that I'm not alone in this transition.

I was essentially done with my primary career, empty nest, and trying to figure out what to do. I didn’t want to go back to work full time, but I couldn't figure it out on my own... After Change Makers, I feel like I have all the tools I need. I now have ideas for what I'm what I'm really wanting to do in the future... I’m not going to stop talking about this program.

This course has been life changing for me. It’s provided me with not just tools but a way of approaching this next stage that makes me open up to possibilities, and it also gave me an opportunity to connect with other people … From those sparks I’ve taken off in a bunch of different directions.

Change Makers literally changed my life and came just at the right time. I can now confidently leave a career that was very meaningful to me and know I am heading in the right direction, poised and prepared to live life fully - following my curiosity, pursuing my passions, engaging in lifelong learning and building and nurturing meaningful relationships.

I’m so excited about Change Makers because I think what's happening at the University of Colorado Denver is a model for what we need all over the country.

(I appreciated) the opportunity for introspection and to encourage me to think about my values, my history, my interests, my feelings, and my possibilities for the future in a warm, welcoming, interesting context with a great group of people who also are navigating this exhilarating and unnerving transition... It's a good value, it's thought provoking, it's challenging, it's a way to structure one's thinking about the future.

This program made a huge impact on me in terms of self-reflection, purpose, and approach to my personal and work life, and place on the planet.

In addition to providing a new network of friends and connections, Change Makers helped me clarify my view of myself and where I should be investing my time and energy. It really met the objectives that I was seeking in terms of both structure and networking. If you're at that stage where you're trying to figure out what's next, it's a great program.

I came into Change Makers thinking it would help me sort through the potential second chapter on a career, but it's been so much more than that. Understanding yourself and what drives your decisions and career as well as life choices are essential to a healthy existence. I now feel much more solid about my next step. It makes sense and I feel very confident about it.
