Cathy Bodine, PhD, Professor, Department of Bioengineering, with secondary appointments in the Departments of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Orthopedics and Pediatrics, CU School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus and University of Colorado, Denver. She holds the Colorado Construction Industry Endowed Professorship and the Coleman-Turner Endowed Chair in Cognitive Disability, and is the Executive Director of the Coleman Institute for Cognitive Technologies, She directs the Center for Inclusive Design and Engineering (CIDE) with a focus on assistive, medical, and accessible mainstream technologies; interdisciplinary research and translational applications and design innovations. She is Director, Innovation Ecosystem, Colorado Clinical Translational Sciences Institute, University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus and is developing transdisciplinary educational programs in the Department of Bioengineering focused on inclusive technology, disability and aging.

Moriah Michels is a licensed early childhood special educator with 14 years of experience in the field of special education, primarily in early childhood special education, serving schools, childcare centers, and as a child and family advocate. She serves as a research instructor at the Center for Inclusive Design and Engineering, working full time on Project Include. Her primary focus is on creating individualized programs for early childhood educators in Colorado, working to support enhancement of their skills and knowledge in early childhood development, using assistive technology, social-emotional learning, and trauma informed behavior and classroom strategies for young children. She is passionate about the inclusion and success of all children, especially those with trauma, delays, disabilities, or differences.
