This academic year, we are embarking on a brand refresh with the goal to re-introduce CU Denver to the world during the 2023-2024 academic year.

Phase I | Research & Discovery
Academic Year 2022
We completed a robust and comprehensive research and discovery phase that included internal and external qualitative and quantitative research managed by University Communications and the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness. From this research, we developed an executive summary of findings that laid the foundation for the strategic and creative direction of the brand. These findings were presented in community sessions in spring 2022.
Phase II | Creative Development
Academic Year 2023
The University Communications in-house team developed creative concepts to support the brand refresh. The concepts were presented to stakeholder groups in spring 2023.
Phase III | Additional Community Feedback & Rollout
August 2023 - December 2023
Additional community input sessions will inform the final brand creative, which will be rolled out to the entire CU Denver community in fall 2023.
Phase IV | Brand Campaign Launch
Late 2023 - January 2024
We will prepare for public launch in market.
The brand refresh is a collaborative effort, with multiple people, units, and departments contributing along the way.
