A Collaborative Vision for the Future of our Downtown Neighborhood

The Ball Arena redevelopment, which was officially approved last fall, will transform a large area of our city, creating a new neighborhood next to our campus. CU Denver played a key role in shaping the future of the project through its Community Collaborative Research Center, faculty leadership, and alumni involvement. The newly signed Community Benefits Agreement will bring affordable housing, green spaces, local art, and economic opportunities to the area—ensuring community voices drive the transformation.

Research & Creative Activities Symposium (RaCAS)
