Poll Everywhere

- Access Instructions:
Go to the university's Poll Everywhere single sign-on (SSO) login page at polleverywhere.com/auth/saml/ucdenver. Log in with your university email and password to create your account.
Faculty and staff can use Poll Everywhere to create and host live polls, view audience responses, and download reports. Polls can be added to PowerPoint presentations, displayed in a web browser, shared with colleagues, or embedded into Canvas where results can be imported into the gradebook. -
DocuSign

DocuSign is currently available to CU Anschutz Medical Campus researchers, faculty, and staff. This HIPAA-compliant web-based application is a fast, secure way to create, sign, and send documents from any device. -
BioRender

- The cost for faculty, staff, and students is $200 for each user per year (less than half of the standard commercial price). The software is license is linked to your university credentials and cannot be shared.
Sign up for a university license using a Cherwell ticket at the OIT Service Center. Submit your name, department or unit, and speedtype for each license requested. You will receive an email from OIT when you are approved and added to the system. Visit the OIT BioRender software webpage for more information about university BioRender licenses.

Respondus Exam Builder is a Windows-only software used to create exams for use in Canvas. Many publishers provide exam questions that can be managed or edited in Respondus. -
Turnitin

Turnitin is a plagiarism detection service already installed in Canvas. In order to use it, you must enable it in your class. -
Proctorio

- Faculty who want to use Proctorio to remotely proctor exams need to install the app into their course via the Proctorio Chrome extension. Faculty should reach out to the OIT Service Desk to receive the necessary information for installation. A complete guide can be found here.
Proctorio is the university supported service for proctoring online exams delivered in Canvas. Proctorio requires the Chrome browser and works on both Windows and Mac. -

CU on Coursera offers courses taught by university faculty at no cost to faculty, students and staff. -
Canvas

Canvas is the university’s Learning Management System (LMS). Instructors can post content, assessments, activities, and grades in Canvas while communicating with their students. Students can use Canvas to complete coursework and collaborate with their classmates. -

The eComm license includes Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and Cvent. It enables users to create and send personalized promotional and transactional email messages using contact data of our constituents. Cvent, an event registration and management tool is also included in the package. The university will centrally fund one eComm license for each school, college and university-approved administrative units. -

- Stata is available for purchase at reduced Campus Grad Plan rates on all campuses of CU, including students, faculty, and staff. Orders are made from the STATA site http://www.stata.com/order/new/edu/gradplans/campus-gradplan/. Students, faculty, and staff may order online or by phone, paying by credit card. Instructions for downloading and licensing are then sent by email.
