Please use this Adobe link to find out how to download your data and this Microsoft link to learn how to upload data onto OneDrive.

It is best practice for all Adobe users to download their assets from the Adobe Creative Cloud to a university approved storage location such as OneDrive. Files left in the Adobe Creative Cloud may not be accessible at a later date, even if you renew your license from year to year. Adobe instruction for manually transferring your assets is available here.

Adobe Creative Cloud license is recommended for creative work, such as photography, graphic design, video, illustration, social media, and UI and UX. The apps included are Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Acrobat Pro, InDesign, After Effects, Lightroom, Adobe XD, Animate, Lightroom Classic, Dreamweaver, Dimension, Audition, InCopy, Character Animator, Capture, Adobe Fresco, Bridge, Adobe Express, Premiere Rush, Photoshop Express, Media Encoder, Aero, Adobe Scan, Fill & Sign, and Acrobat Reader. 

Complete the request on the OIT Service Center portal (effective 6/24/2023). For instructions on this process, see the “To Access” section on the OIT Adobe tool detail webpage. The Vice-Chancellor or Dean will approve the form and will grant access to the requested Adobe product.

Speedtypes are the only accepted form of payment for the Adobe products. Procurement cards will not be accepted.

**Please do NOT purchase Adobe products using your Procurement card or through the Marketplace portal, this will charge CU Denver more than the already negotiated, lower prices. 

Adobe Creative Cloud will be $65 per account for CU Denver faculty and staff. 

$18 per account for CU Denver faculty and staff. 

No, when requesting a license through the OIT Service Center, you will need to have your department speedtype ready to enter in the service request. 

Yes, you can submit the request form on behalf of someone else. It is important to note that if you submit for other team members that you fill the form out with their information only in order for the license to be allocated and assigned correctly. 

Submit the form per individual. No bulk submissions are accepted. 

Unfortunately, each person requesting a license needs to complete an individual form to create a ticket; the ticketing system does not allow for a group application, only individual licenses. 

This is because the submission of the form goes both to our OIT professionals for billing and directly to Adobe for the license distribution. Adobe will then send a confirmation email within 3-5 days of the form submission. Because of this setup with Adobe, there is no way to create a bulk submission without it messing up the license assignment. 

Please check your email to see if you have received a confirmation email from Adobe, this may be in your junk email. If you are unable to find a confirmation email from Adobe, please do not submit a new request.

If you are a student, please contact your IT Help Desk for your School/College. 

Any of the Adobe products can be installed on up to 3 devices for a single license such as a work laptop, a work tablet, and a phone for the same user. 

This is for one user and is not able to be shared across multiple users. Each user will need their own license and need to download to their individual devices. 

For users who work on shared computers, Adobe products can be accessed via the web browser with no download needed. This is ideal for users who work in computer labs or have shared desks that rotate. 

You can cancel your Adobe account purchased independently at any time, although Adobe will not reimburse you for any unused time on your contract. Once you set up your new account on the university's Adobe plan, you can start moving your data from your previous Adobe ID to your university account. (Your university account is referred to as an Enterprise/Federated ID account in the Adobe instructions.) Adobe instruction for manually transferring your assets is available here.

Your files remain with your previous Adobe ID for 90 days; after that time the data availability is reduced to 2GB.
