For families that need assistance in paying for child care, the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program may be able to help. This program provides child care assistance to families who are working, searching for employment, or are in training, and families who are enrolled in the Colorado Works program and need child care services. Eligibility is set at the county level, but the Department has expanded income eligibility. For instance, a family of four living in Jefferson County can make up to $57,000 to initially qualify for child care assistance. Families can apply for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program on the Colorado PEAK website.
