Program Overview
In this presentation, Professor Kevin Mac Gabhann from EM Strasbourg in France will share the latest and best practices in developing international teams, with a focus on the skillsets required to be successful in today's global business environment. He will also discuss elements of eco-literacy and employability around critical sustainability tools and skills when working in a global setting.

Professor Kevin MacGabhann from EM Strasbourg in France will share the latest and best practices in developing international teams, with a focus on the skillsets required to be successful in today's global business environment. He will also discuss elements of eco-literacy and employability around critical sustainability tools and skills when working in a global setting.
Dr. Kevin MacGabhann, is an Associate Professor of management and Associate Dean of International Relations at the triple accredited EM Strasbourg Business School, at the University of Strasbourg in France. Born and raised in Dublin, with double nationality Irish-French, he has studied, worked and lived in Ireland, USA, Japan and France and visited over 60 countries in his career thus far.
Dr. MacGabhann’s career began in business in Ireland, then the United States and Japan before arriving in Strasbourg in 2000 and joining EM Strasbourg Business School, University of Strasbourg in 2003. Kevin has over 20 years of experience in academic and senior management in international higher education. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2009 and became Director of International Relations in 2012 and Associate Dean of International Relations in 2014. He is responsible for developing the business school’s international relations strategy including oversight of international student affairs, study abroad programs, over 15 double degree programs, two summer schools and short-term custom programs, to 500 outgoing students and 700 incoming students within a network of 240 partner universities in 52 countries.
He obtained his Master’s degree in University College Dublin and earned his Ph.D in Management from the University of Strasbourg. His thesis entitled Managing Ethno-cultural Diversity in Health Care Service Delivery: The Irish Experience was published in 2015. Dr. MacGabahnn specializes in the field of International Human Resources Management, reflecting a professional and academic career associated with intercultural experience and cross-cultural training and scholarship. He lectures in International Human Resource Management, Intercultural Management, Management of International Teams, Diversity Management and International Negotiations and Eco-Literacy.

The Robert Reynolds Distinguished Lecture Series is supported by the Robert and Viola Reynolds Endowment for International Business for the purpose of bringing renowned faculty, business practitioners, and government leaders and officials to speak at the University of Colorado Denver’s Business School.
