As a Lifelong Learning Program member, you have free attendance to all CU Denver CIBER virtual events and up to four International Executive Roundtable (IER) events, per academic year, and one Global Context of Business workshop free of charge.
You may choose to attend additional IER events for $50 each, and additional Global Context of Business workshops for $100 each.

Governor, State of Amazonas, Brazil
The Honorable Wilson Miranda Lima serves as Governor of the State of Amazonas, Brazil. He was elected in 2018 on his first attempt and garnered the highest vote as governor in Amazonas State.
Under Governor Wilson Miranda Lima’s administration, the State of Amazonas has undertaken 150+ infrastructure projects and will launch and 100+ infrastructure projects in 2022. These projects focus on upgrading ports, highways, and bridges, and address deficiencies in water and sewage treatment that are improving the lives of more than 190,00 people from around the state.
Governor Wilson Miranda Lima has focused on high-impact social initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable and inclusive development. These include:
• Implementing the Fund for Addressing Poverty and Social Issues (FPS) to benefit 77,000+ families.
• Providing financial support for people over the age of 60 years old to start their own business.
• Championing programs to promote technological literacy and the development of courses to upgrade the quality of the state’s labor force. Providing free transportation (bus rides) for students to commute around the state.
• Increasing investments in health care—doubling the health care capacity of the state.
• Expanding the state’s procurement program of locally grown foods for distribution to families in need.
• Addressing the health care, infrastructure, and educational needs of indigenous populations.
• Expanding food establishments to attend to the needs of the poor and homeless.
Prior to his election to public office, Governor Wilson Miranda Lima was a reporter, broadcaster, and TV host of a popular television program in the Amazonas State for almost ten years. He holds a degree in Journalism from Centro Universitário Nilton Lins.
