COVID-19 Update for Parents:
CU Denver to transition to remote teaching and learning
March 11, 2020 @ 1:25 p.m.
Dear CU Denver Parents and Families,
I am writing to follow up on my
email to you from earlier this week. We have made additional decisions with regard to the evolving situation of COVID-19. We have just sent
this communication to our campus community regarding our planned transition to remote teaching and learning.
By Monday, March 30, we expect to have full implementation of remote teaching and learning. This means that classes will not be held on campus. For the remainder of the next two weeks and through the March 23 – 27 spring break, we will be testing and preparing for the transition. At this time, we expect remote learning to continue for the rest of the spring semester. If circumstances change, we will re-evaluate this decision.
I am confident we have sound preparation and planning in place, and I appreciate your cooperation and patience as we navigate these challenging circumstances. We encourage you to
visit our website for the most up-to-date information on CU Denver’s COVID-19 related policies. If you have questions, please email
family@ucdenver.edu.
With gratitude,
Dorothy Horrell
