Meet our team of experts at CIDE and the national and local agencies with whom we proudly partner to enhance emergency preparedness and community support for people with disabilities, their families, and the agencies and professionals who support them.
Zack Hersh is an Administrative Assistant III at the University of Colorado, supporting the Surviving in Place project with CIDE (Center for Inclusive Design and Engineering) / Department of Bioengineering. He has a BA in American Studies from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. He provides administrative support for various Emergency Preparedness and Community Outreach projects, including the distribution of backup power supplies for folks on life sustaining medical equipment; providing Emergency Go Kits for Colorado Medicaid members; and the coordination of Emergency Preparedness trainings for agency staff, individuals with access and functional needs or disabilities and their families, older adults, and other community members.
To these and the many other local and national disability and emergency management collaborators who have offered guidance and help to this program, we are truly grateful for your support.
Thank you.
