Medicaid Members Bridging the Digital Divide
Improving Digital Literacy in Colorado
Feb 28, 2024
Everyone should have the digital skills needed to take part in online health care. To meet that goal, CIDE has created a new curriculum to teach digital skills to people who receive Medicaid supports and services. The curriculum takes a person-first approach designed to connect people online with their health care providers.
A pilot run of the initiative started in November with a group of 30 learners and 18 coaches from the Colorado Medicaid community. Feedback from this pilot will improve the curriculum so that it is ready for use statewide. Empowering a more inclusive digital experience benefits everyone and CIDE is proud to help out.
