Giving thanks and giving back, 12-03-2019

Dear Faculty and Staff,

At CU Denver, we pride ourselves on our contributions to the community. That’s why we’re inviting you to participate in our ninth annual CU in the Community program. The program allows you to take a half-day of work time to volunteer with the organization of your choice. It’s a great way to spend time with your colleagues outside of the office while honoring the spirit of the holiday season.

The program will run from this coming Monday, December 9, through Monday, March 30. You can volunteer at an organization in which you have a personal interest or choose from our featured partners list. Faculty and staff can choose to participate individually or with a group/department. Students and alumni are also welcome to participate with faculty and staff or individually.

We highly encourage departments to volunteer in a group activity. It can be a fun way to bring your colleagues together outside the normal work setting — and have a great time — while contributing to our mission of improving the health and well-being of people in Colorado.
