Anthology Ally

You can take new steps towards making your course more inclusive for all learners with Anthology Ally! Anthology Ally is a built into Canvas and will improve the accessibility of course content for students and instructors. Students can choose alternative formats of course content based on their preferences and instructors will get feedback and guidance to improve the accessibility of their course content.

Anthology Ally has three primary features meant to promote access and engagement for all students:

  • Detailed instructor feedback: Ally provides scores (visible only to instructors) to measure the accessibility of content.
  • Alternative formats for students: Ally automatically creates alternative formats of course content based on the original.
  • Institutional reporting:  Ally will track progress of our accessibility efforts as well as identify areas which need support and/or training resources.
