The tension was palpable. The "ooh's!" and "aah's!" could be heard in every corner of the office. On Friday 5/17 at approximately 2:15pm, participants and spectators alike gathered around a computer to witness the miraculous algorithm determine the teams and pairings for this year's Hack-a-thon.

The first group will see current champions Jeff Beel and Jim Adams attempt to defend their title against the formidable duo of Hector Pardo and Alex Karklins.

"Dees ees wonderful, we 'ave a grrreat chance," said an excited Pardo after the drawing.

The second group pits Rick Machado and Richard Gonyeau against Chris Derry and Eric Howell.

"I haven't hit a golf ball yet this season," remarked a noticeably bewildered, strapping Gonyeau. "...but I'm pretty sure the Peptide Hormones and Analogues I'm taking will see us through to the back 9." 

With the pairings established, Vegas is already in a frenzy whipping up odds for this extraordinary event. Tee-times will be determined as we get closer to the event, so check back soon for more details.
