- March 2019 Update: Adobe has given greater access to Adobe Creative Cloud desktop apps to facilitate remote learning. Visit their webpage for more information and details about resources.
For both Adobe Acrobat Pro (for working with PDF files) and Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) staff can purchase a license from one of our vendors through the CU Marketplace. Faculty and students are eligible for education pricing from Adobe. For more information, visit adobe.com.
Acrobat allows users to view and edit PDF files. CC offers tools for graphic design, video editing, web development, image editing. -

Canvas

- Users can log in to https://ucdenver.instructure.com with their CU Denver | Anschutz Passport credentials. Courses and enrollments are automatically provisioned and do not require any additional requests.

Canvas is the university’s Learning Management System (LMS). Instructors can post content, assessments, activities, and grades in Canvas while communicating with their students. Students can use Canvas to complete coursework and collaborate with their classmates. -
Coursera

CU on Coursera offers courses taught by university faculty at no cost to faculty, students and staff. -

- To acquire a license, go to https://www.cu.edu/ecomm/ecomm-request-access for more information. Once you have a license, users can access Salesforce/Marketing Cloud/Cvent at https://www.cu.edu/ecomm/login.
The eComm license includes Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and Cvent. It enables users to create and send personalized promotional and transactional email messages using contact data of our constituents. Cvent, an event registration and management tool is also included in the package. The university will centrally fund one eComm license for each school, college and university-approved administrative units. -

Proctorio

- Faculty who want to use Proctorio to remotely proctor exams need to install the app into their course via the Proctorio Chrome extension. Faculty should reach out to the OIT Service Desk to receive the necessary information for installation. A complete guide can be found here.
Proctorio is the university supported service for proctoring online exams delivered in Canvas. Proctorio requires the Chrome browser and works on both Windows and Mac. -

Respondus Exam Builder

Respondus Exam Builder is a Windows-only software used to create exams for use in Canvas. Many publishers provide exam questions that can be managed or edited in Respondus. -

- Stata is available for purchase at reduced Campus Grad Plan rates on all campuses of CU, including students, faculty, and staff. Orders are made from the STATA site http://www.stata.com/order/new/edu/gradplans/campus-gradplan/. Students, faculty, and staff may order online or by phone, paying by credit card. Instructions for downloading and licensing are then sent by email.
