As we prepare for Cybersecurity Awareness Month which begins October 1, be sure to review the important reasons for maintaining awareness to protect your privacy and sensitive university information.

Update - Zoom will no longer require enabling new waiting room and passcode requirement features as previously stated.

All staff, faculty and students who have been approved to be on campus are required to complete the attestation form as well as meet at checkpoints set across campus every day. Data from the attestation app can be exported, analyzed, and recorded to see where people have been and when if contract tracing is needed.

“The PSA Division is critical to meeting the overall vision of OIT by providing those business-focused services such as project management, change management, and business analysis, which completes the OIT service offering,” says Russ Poole, associate vice chancellor and chief information technology officer.

All students, faculty and staff must use Duo Security for MFA to access Microsoft 365 applications including your university email. Visit OIT’s CU Secure and MFA webpage at ucdenver.edu/cu-secure for additional information, helpful documentation and updates.

You'll notice a new look and feel to the OIT Service Center. OIT has revised the ticketing system for staff, faculty and students to request assistance with university technology needs.

MFA for Microsoft 365 applications is now live and faculty, staff and students will need to use Duo when connecting from off-campus.

Use caution with any health and virus associated messages you may receive and be vigilant about staying safe from cyber security threats.

OIT will be upgrading the campus firewall on Saturday, June 6, from 5 - 9am. All services and systems will be unavailable during this time so, please plan accordingly!

OIT's Finance and Administration team manages billing for information technology services across both campuses, human resources efforts including key partnerships with other campus departments and projects as well as outreach and communication for the university’s IT initiatives.
