The Office of Equity (OE) was created to administer the University's Nondiscrimination and Sexual Misconduct Policies by addressing all complaints of discrimination and harassment based on protected characteristics, all complaints of prohibited sexual misconduct, and any related retaliation reported by University students, faculty, staff and/or third parties.
In addition to the University's Nondiscrimination and Sexual Misconduct Policies, the OE also enforces the Conflict of Interest in Cases of Amorous Relationships Policy, Equal Opportunity Employment, and Affirmative Action Plans.
The OE employs comprehensive, unbiased, resolution processes to ensure safety and prevent further harm, offer support resources, understand the scope of the problem, and determine options for resolution.
