Min-Hyung Choi, Ph.D

Min Choi

Prof. Choi received his M.S. and Ph.D. from University of Iowa in 1996 and 1999 respectively. He joined the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Colorado at Denver in 1999.  

His research interests are in Computer Graphics, Scientific Visualization and Human Computer Interaction with an emphasis on physically-based modeling and simulation for Neuroscience and Bioinformatics applications. Currently he is the Director of Computer Graphics and Virtual Environments Laboratory.

In 2003, he received the NSF CAREER Award from National Science Foundation. In 2006, he received the UC Denver campus award for Excellence in Research and Creative Activities.
