The CU Denver Block Party earned its green certification from Certifiably Green Denver​ (CGD) in 2018. Environmental considerations are incorporated into all aspects of the Block Party because the University of Colorado maintains a strong commitment to sustainability in all aspects of its operation. As part of our overall environmental strategy, we require vendors to meet certain environmental criteria including energy efficiency, water conservation, resource management, and transportation.
