Department of Sociology Receives a $1 Million Gift for Scholarships
Inspired by a deep love for CU Denver and the discipline of sociology, an anonymous donor makes a remarkable commitment to scholarships that empowers students and advances the study of social dynamics.
CU has a NEW CU Logo License Plate! Introducing a new specialty CU license plate featuring the interlocking CU logo. This new option joins the existing plate featuring CU Boulder's Ralphie the Buffalo in providing an opportunity to show your CU pride. By selecting this plate, you will also support student scholarships.
When Past, Present, and Future Meet
A unique and extensive collection of animal bones recently donated to the Anthropology Department expands opportunities for students to become more familiar with archaeology specific to this region of the country.
Thank you to everyone who supported the first-ever CU Food Fight. Over the month-long battle against hunger on campus, 204 donors contributed more than $17,000 to the CU Denver Food Pantry. Together, you made a real difference for students facing food insecurity—filling stomachs, lifting spirits, and fueling dreams.
CU TOGETHER
Students who benefit from philanthropic support at CU Denver always enjoy the opportunity to connect with our generous community of donors. This fall provided several opportunities to do so including, the 2024 Donor Celebration at Coohills in LoDo and a breakfast for the Puksta Scholars with the leadership of the Puksta Foundation.
