These marks should be used on high-level campuswide communications and audience-specific content relating to CU Denver's city and community involvement, student recruitment, and other prominent pieces. The CU in the City lockups can be paired with any CU Denver campus or unit signature but should never be paired with our brand logo or used on its own.
The CU in the City lockups combine two elements in an intentional and fixed arrangement. Together, these elements appear as a single component and may not be altered, replaced, or retyped in any way.
All marks come in full color, reverse color, black, and white.

Clear space must always surround these marks, to improve visual impact and ensure legibility. The minimum acceptable clear space is equal to the height of the tallest building.

In addition to acceptable color ways, the brand logo comes in CU Gold, for both configurations. Variations in the gold may be used only in special cases that have been approved by University Communications.
Tips for using this colorway
Only use on dark backgrounds for high contrast.
Use sparingly for high-level materials only.
The stacked CU in the City wordmark is especially suitable for vertical signage, as evidenced throughout the physical campus. This mark should be used sparingly and only vertically. The files for this mark are available upon request by filling out the brand and design request form.
