Case Management

Supporting Safety and Well-Being at CU Denver

If this is an emergency call 911

Who We Are

The Office of Case Management works to foster student growth, development, and success by assisting students dealing with concerns related to mental health, emotional wellbeing, and safety by providing outreach, resources, referrals, advocacy, and follow-up services.

What We Do

The Office of Case Management was established to serve the needs of campus community and struggling students. Services include, but are not limited to, providing intervention and advocacy, resource and referrals, navigating university systems, and medical withdrawals.

Medical Withdrawal

We review all requests for medical withdrawals for CU Denver students in order to assist them in their ability to be academically successful. Students diagnosed with either physical or psychological medical conditions that significantly impact their safety or ability to be academically successful are eligible to petition for a medical withdrawal. Due to the Medical Withdrawal Policy, students will be withdrawn from all classes enrolled for the applied semester; partial withdrawals are not permitted. Students seeking to withdraw for non-medical reasons will need to review the withdrawal policies and procedures for their respective school or college. All required documentation from this page must be attached to the medical withdrawal form to receive full consideration.
