Students who are accepted into the University Honors and Leadership Program (UHL) have the opportunity to learn from some of the best professors on campus. The curriculum includes both required courses and electives.
UHL courses are interdisciplinary
and designed to encourage students to develop a broad-based intellectual approach to the subject matter. Students meet with a UHL advisor each semester, before they register for classes. Your advisor helps you to select courses that meet your needs,
while taking into consideration your academic requirements, interests, and schedule. We strive to keep class offerings current and engaging, and are constantly updating curriculum and developing new courses.
As you review our course catalog,
you’ll discover a diverse selection of interesting and challenging classes. You may even be surprised by what you find there. Our wide range of class topics include food justice, athlete activism, ethics and technology, and English composition
with a focus on humor.
